Hello, my name is Manuel Rodriguez and this is my presentation based on the essential question. Now, stories, I love stories and can’t help but be intrigued when my parents tell me a story of their life back when they lived in Cuba. My parents have told me how resources were controlled and often taken away for no good reason. Similar to the stories of the Holocaust within Allan Zullo’s novel, my parents had to go through hardships and live in horrible conditions, however, it was, admittedly, not as gruesome or terrifying as the events described in the text. Nevertheless, from both sources, I learned to be thankful for all of the luxuries that I have and how I never have to worry about whether or not I’ll survive another day. The stories my
