Society is an atmosphere, and we as people are fabricated within its perception and unfair existence. In the chapter “The Half-Husky” by Margaret Lawrence, we follow the story of Nanuk, a half-husky, and the violence he faces. On the other hand, the short animated film Kitbull by Pixar director Rosana Sullivan explores the relationship between a cat and a fighter dog. Lawrence and Sullivan talk about the idea of abuse and how the abused become the abusers. In both stories, they each imply the idea that the environment in which those are exposed is the root cause of abuse, and how the ignorance from those around fuels that cycle.
