She works with aluminum sheets making spiral shapes into mobile and irregular, which opposed a metaphoric, and airy image. Her first works were shown to all artists officially in Arte Povera movement. She, Marisa Merz, was the only woman artist who associated with Arte Povera. In the year 1968, the Arte Povera + Azioni Povere had a group show and Marisa Merz exhibited few of her works. One of them was the beach rolled blankets packed with copper wire and tapes. It is called Senza titolo 1988. She sew coppers, draping aluminum, used clay, knead wax and made her works.
