Mark Dwight was instrumental in the turnaround experienced at Timbuk2. When he became an investor and the CEO in 2002 it was a small company on the verge of bankruptcy. Timbuk2 had a good reputation but found themselves fighting for sales. Over the three years he worked there Mark Dwight turned the company around and when it was sold three years later sales had increased from four million to twenty million. He displays many of the characteristics that are common to both charismatic leaders and transformational leaders. The most obvious traits are having a vision for the company, being willing to take risks, and displaying high energy and actions orientation. While he did display many of the common characteristics of both charismatic and
