Introduction.
The aim of this project is to introduce the London's iconic Grosvenor House Hotel that is managed by one of the world's biggest lodging companies Marriott International, Inc.
The report is focused on the analysis of operation and management strategy of the hotel. Following aspects will be considered in this report: hotel's target market, services offered, number of employees, hotel ownership as well as its organisation itself, and also an review of the its main revenue centres. Finally, at the end of the report will be presented my personal truthful impression of the hotel and a conclusion.

Grosvenor House - is not just a hotel, it is a hotel with history and traditions. On the site where the hotel is situated now, was the London residence of the Duke of Gloucester, who was a brother of King George III, before this house was purchased by Dukes of Westminster, whose family name was Grosvenor. Then this site was leased to the Albert Octavius Edwards who constructed this luxury hotel.

Overlooking the Hyde Park, the hotel is located in the heart of London, in the area called Mayfair, with the West End, Oxford Street and Kinightsbridge just a short stroll away. Each of 494 rooms and suites reflect the true design of the hotel with a sophisticated blend of traditional and contemporary furniture. Since the hotel first opened in 1929, its rooms and undoubtedly renowned "The Great Room", that has been a venue of many outstanding events, such as award ceremonies, is frequented by many royalty, politicians and celebrities, including actor Orson Welles. Target Market. From 2008 Grosvenor House is operated by JW Marriott Brand, appearing as the most elegant and luxurious in Marriott International Inc. Hotels in this category are designed for people who appreciate the attentive and considerate service, unobtrusive luxury and inviting atmosphere. Since it’s opening, The Grosvenor House has been a priority choice of the wealthy and famous people, such as Edward VII, Ella Fitzgerald, Jacqueline Onassis.

According to hotel employee Mike Dalley, Grosvenor House has a formed and quite extensive client base, which consists mostly of business travellers, and loyal customers with either leisure or business purpose of a trip. The hotel has one of the largest conference and banquet facilities in Europe, including The Great Room, The Ballroom, The Court Suite and 22 meeting rooms, for this reason the it is the main place of holding business meetings and conferences in London.

As previously mentioned Grosvenor House Hotel is a luxury hotel with a service and facilities of exceptional quality, offering a huge range of services to meet all the demands of their clients.
