"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." The essence of Dr. Martin Luther King’s argues that there is no exception to the existence of injustice anywhere. Furthermore, King argues that humans must fight to protect justice and ensure that civilians hold one another accountable to treating others equally because when one person is affected directly, others are impacted indirectly. Currently, America is repeating history for a resolution against injustice towards the minority and poor communities, a movement, similar to the one’s the American ancestors had once partaken in. The Civil Rights movement has had a long lasting impression on the United States through persistence and strategic forms of protest, although Black Lives Matter shares similarities in their reason for establishment; however, they differ when it comes to the execution of inciting change amongst society by the forms of protest or lack of.

If an individual of any age demands to voice an opinion today, it is as simple as typing onto an electronic device and shared via social media. With that being said, Black Lives Matter originated and expanded by using the aforementioned. On the contrary, if one wanted to be part of the protest of the past, they were to attend seditions within churches, schools or the homes of forerunners. As a result of the way America informed others, technology advancements are impeding on the modern movement because of the voiced comments from uninformed and unorganized supporters. However, the Civil Rights Movement was advanced because one had to pre contrive in order to join the demonstrations to positively impact the
