Additionally, he became a music advisor for a publishing company, and composer for over twenty-five films. Of these films, perhaps one of, if not the most famous film he composed music for was George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” in 1955. This film was in fact “England's first feature-length animated movie.” (Root) In the year 1942, Seiber took up a position at Morley College. He spent fifteen years at this institution. During this time, Seiber wrote his piece “Ulysses” which was first displayed at Morley College by its choir. He became a highly demanded composition teacher and educated an entire generation of English music composers. Additionally, Seiber affiliated with Society for the Promotion of New Music, as he became involved with its establishment. He left Morley College in 1957.
