In recalling and reflecting on my MBTI profile of E,N,T,J I find myself to be a natural leader. Even though I have become a natural leader I do not believe I have become the leader I want to be. In reading the SCARF and NVC materials I have discovered the leader I would like to be and how these tools can help me lead.

In reflecting on my own leadership I have discovered a few items of improvement and a few traits that can be encouraged. One of the traits I feel that could use improvement is my defensiveness. I lean to defending myself and my team fervently almost to a fault and even if the team is wrong.
