Mcphee's The Search For Marvin Garden

I do not think I have read anything that resembles what McPhee wrote in The search for Marvin Garden. It was a unique, and enjoyable at the same time. As I read through it, I kept thinking to myself that I cannot come up with a such piece. This type of writing is too advanced for me, I thought. I marvel how he was able to connect the “best of seven series” monopoly game to the actual search for Marvin Gardens. However, it took a few paragraphs to get used to switching back and forth between the game with his friend and the actual story. Using the monopoly game made the essay more relatable and current. I cannot separate one from the other, they are a perfectly suitable for each other.
