In the present era, the society is unquestionably influenced by numerous cultural norms and ideals. The influence of media on the human being has always been an argument. People have been targeted through media by various advertising agencies. This paper aims to cover whether Media influences people and affects their eating routine or causes eating disorders in people. For this purpose, the paper is comprised of a thorough literature review, which discusses the concept of other researchers and writers which explain how the media causes eating disorders in people. Rather a study shows that eating disorders are a significant reason of physical and psychosocial illness in teenage girls and young grownup women. On the other hand, the eating disorders exist at a much less frequent rate in men.
