The book Half the Sky does an amazing job identifying how women are being forced into sexual slavery through coercion or trickery due to poor economic situations. In the book, we follow several women who were victims of these horrendous crimes. Srey Rath, a cambodian teen, was tricked into prostitution while seeking economic opportunities. In addition, we follow Meena Hisani, a woman who was kidnapped and forced into prostitution when she was a child. These women faced tremendous hardship that many people in western societies cannot fathom. In both tragic events, there seems to be no solutions in sight for solving the problem. Instead, the purpose of this blog will be to identify a possible solution for the underground prostitution ring. In
