In the article “Meet Your iBrain” by Gary Small and Gigi Vorgan talk about “the current explosion of digital technology how is changing the way we lives and communicate, but also rapidly and profoundly altering our brains. Our brain is evolving right now at a speed like never before”. In “Defense of Technology” by Andrew O’Hagan talk about how technology is making life gets better as time go by. And technology is improvement and improvement like never before. Every part of our daily life is related to technology in one or other way. So, is Digital Technology changing our lives in a positive or negative way? Yes digital technology has changed our lives in a positive and negative way. With the help of mobile technology we are able to talk to our friends and relatives who are living far from us. For example, I left my country Liberian in 2011. Leaving my sick grandmother and my husband. As a newly marry women it was hard leaving without any mean of keeping in touch. It was hard on me. Three days later I arrive in the US and my mom bought me my first ever smartphone. I was so happy knowing that I can now keep in touch with my grandmother and my husband. Thank God for technology. I now still on the phone all day and night talking to my grandmother and husband. It gets even better now I can see the face to face while talking to them.
