In this memo, I will be discussing my educational and professional objectives, my interest in Information Technology and Administrative Management, and why I would be an excellent addition to the ITAM Graduate program. I started out at Central Washington University specializing in Administrative Management after graduating with my Associates degree in Business Technology.
I decided on this program due to my high interest in leadership development and the skills I would obtain to assist me in reaching my career goals.
While completing my Bachelor’s degree online, I worked full-time at Grays Harbor College. I started out doing cashiering in our Business Office. I spent several late nights on campus finishing projects and studying for exams. I strive to go above and beyond expectations, making sure every last assignment is completed to the best of my ability. With each class that I conquered, my motivation increased. I felt privileged to be a part of the program while furthering my education. I enjoy taking on heavy class loads in order to challenge myself and grow personally and professionally.…show more content… I am now the Community Education Specialist where I oversee our personal enrichment programs. By being a part of the ITAM program, it gave me the skills and the self-esteem I needed to take on a new leadership role. I am also currently a part of the Leadership Development Cohort here at Grays Harbor College and I participated in the Leadership Grays Harbor program last year. Since receiving my ITAM degree, I am now helping with the facilitation of Leadership Grays Harbor training where I can share the leadership skills I acquired while attending Central Washington
