Amanda Knox, her DNA was found on the handle of a knife that had the DNA of Meredith Kercher on the blade. This knife was found at boyfriend (at the time) Raffaele Sollecito’s house. Raffaele Sollecito, was the second person the police believe was at the scene at the time. This was because a shoe print made from a Nike was found in blood at the crime scene. This was the only evidence that was found against Sollecito. Another person that was incriminated by evidence was Rudy Guede, a common friend between the Knox, Sollecito, and Kercher. His DNA was found on a pillow that contained a bloody handprint, these fingerprints belonged to Rudy. There was DNA found inside of Meredith’s body, which proves that she had been sexually assaulted before she had been killed. Guede’s DNA, had been found on her purse and her jumpsuit. Following this information, the police asked around town to find out some more information about the group of friends. They found that there was one more friend that had been quite interested in Meredith, in a very disturbing kind of way. Amanda Knox changed her story quadruple times during the investigation. Amanda first told the police at the crime scene that she was at her boyfriend at the time, watching movies at his house. The second time, she told them during interrogation that she was in the villa and heard Meredith scream but just covered her ears. The third time, she was not alone in the villa and that Lumumba was there in the room with Meredith. The fourth time she told police that she was not in the villa. The security cameras near the villa, quickly put the first and fourth alibi to rest, showing that she indeed was in the villa around the same time that Meredith may have been killed.
