These dances are known as the Nations dance of Mexico,when my mom was in high school she grew an interest in Jarabe Tapatio dancing she loved the bright colors and it was popular dance in her town. Everyday my mom would practice after school her dance group was so popular that they would get put in the paper all the time and even traveled through Texas to preform.My moms dance instructor would say she was the strongest one on her team. One trip they went to Mexico city and met a very known teacher who was supposed to be the best dance teacher in Mexico when my mom performed in front of her she told my mom that she danced ugly and was too old to be dancing my mom didn't listen to her.
