1. What might happen when each line of business, division, and department develops its own IT apps? I. The Data silos which cause the communication disturbances between two departments. This will make not to access data from one system to another system.
II. Data breaches is the anther risk we are going to face when all departments have different IT apps. This include stealing of official data from an organization without any intimation
2. What are the consequences of poorly managed apps? o Poorly managing apps may include data chaos, data silos, data breaches, fault data. Whatever the risk, there is a lot of loss for any field
3. What two risks are posed by data chaos? Explain why.
I. Faulty Data: Use of Electronic Health Records(EHR) by many health care organizations will result in generation of huge amount of data, which in turn causes faulty data generation. The study report by Columbia University says that most of the medical application of Electronic health records are vulnerable to data errors like incorrect lab values, and damage the organizations reputation

Data breaches: Office of Civil Rights has reported many data breach cases in the year2009. Most of the data was stolen or lost on removable drives, portable disks, and laptops. The main reason was the unauthorized access of data, which leads to data loss. Most of the data can be protected by implementing Data governance programs
