1. Insert Your Windows Xp Cd Into Your Computer Drive.
(Make Sure To Restart After You Have Entered The Cd So It Can Be
Recognised)
2. Wait For Setup To Load. If It Doesn’t Load Go To Step 3 If It Does Go To
Step 4.
3. Make Sure Your Computer Is Set To Boot To The Cd Drive. Pressing F12
Usually Lets You Pick What To Boot To On The Computer. Shown Below.

4. Setup Should Now Have Loaded. Shown Below.

5. Press Enter To Set Up Windows Xp Now.
6. Press F8 To Agree With The Licensing Agreement.

7. If You Have An Operating System Already On The Computer Please Select
Don’t Repair Existing Operating System And Continue.
8. Now You Need To Choose Which Partition You Are Going To Install
Windows Xp On To But First You Need To Format The Drive To Remove
Existing Data.
9. Press D To Delete The Partition And Then Press L On The Next Screen To
Erase The Hard Drive.

10. Then Press C To Create The Partition And Then Press Enter To Create
Partition.

11. Then Press Enter To Install.
12. Then Select Format The Partition Using The Ntfs File System (Quick)

13. Setup Then Formats Your Hard Drive So That All The Files Are Wiped Off
Your PC.
14. Setup Then Copies The Files It Requires To Your Computer.
15. The Computer Then Restarts.
16. Once The Computer Has Restarted Do Not Boot From CD !!!!
17. The Main Setup Now Starts.

18. Now You Need To Enter The Correct Language Settings By Pressing
Customize.

19. Then Press Next And Enter Your Name And Organisation.

20. Then Press Next And Enter Your Serial Number.

21. Then Press Next And Enter A Name For Your Computer, For If You Connect
To A Network. Then Enter An Administrator Password (Strongly Advised)

22. Then Press Next And Enter The Date & Time And Time Zone.

23. Then Press Next And Wait To Be Asked For Your Network Details.

24. Press Next And Type In The Workgroup For Your Network
