This paper will analyze the Midas case study in Chapter 2. After reading this case study there were a few questions asked: what would be the anticipated impacts. Discuss whether or not operating practices should be changed to accommodate the tune-ups, reason why inputs should be gathered, types of input that should be gathered and last process and steps to lunch the new program.
Discuss the anticipated impacts (both positive and negative) upon operating efficiencies, and recommend solutions to minimize the negative impacts.

Due to the resources not already being apart of the business you now have to think about people, facilities and equipment, and material and energy. The knowledge inputs needed to develop an effective production system are the product and process designs created in the product development process according to (Vonderembse, White, 2013). But once this process is done you have the maintenance of the process equipment and that is one of the inescapable tasks associated with the operation process according to (Higham, E. H., & Perovic, S. (2001). When it comes to changing ans now many organizations are adopting methods for identifying incipient fault, so that maintenance can be scheduled before there has been a failure which would lead to loss of production and spoilage of raw material. This would mean providing input to various control system, so instead of conditioning the primary sensor signal to provide a good average value for process control.
