Their acquisition obligates each man in some way to change his life, even if it is only his inner life.They demand to be stood for.” This was one of Midge Decter’s famous quotes, this quote shows that Midge is confident about how she is on the inside and out and that men should be be stood for. Midge was born July 25th, 1927 born in St. Paul MN, age 87. Presently Midge is doing a few things, interviews, being on television, and maybe writing another book, maybe not.

As a child Midge’s father owned a sporting goods store and she helped out as a clerk. She also wanted to become a writer/author/journalist as a young child. Also she went to Central High School in St. Paul. While she was a student at Central High School he worked on the literary magazine. After high school Midge stopped doing the traditional way to become a writer and studied at the colleges she went to.

Midge has attended 3 colleges but has never graduated, they are University of Minnesota The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and New York University . What are her hobbies/interests? Midge had 7 jobs 8 including her writing job. The jobs that Midge used to have were a secretary to the editor of Commentary, the intellectual magazine published by the American Jewish Committee assistant editor at Midstream magazine, managing editor at Commentary, editor at Harper's Magazine, and was an editor at Legacy Books and at Basic Books, executive director of the Committee for a Free World, and at an anticommunist organization disbanded after the collapse of the Berlin Wall.
