Among his accomplishments and achievements are setting two World Land Speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats, running a horse in the Kentucky Derby, and winning an Emmy award for daytime television. Gassaway has also been instrumental in the careers of several iconic American mega-stars and has acted alongside a host of Hollywood A-listers.

I practiced law and raised our kids there. We had a great law practice. I represented a lot of high profile people and the law was very good to me,” said Gassaway
“Chuck Norris was an Oklahoma guy. We would hunt and do things together. Chuck moved out to L.A. and had a karate studio. He started breaking into the movies doing stung work with (agent) Alan Stein. When he had an opportunity to star in a feature movie called Breaker Breaker, he didn’t know anything about contracts, so he asked me if I could help him. I wrote up that deal for him. Then in 1977 he hit it big with his next movie Good Guys Wear Black. I did that deal for him and The Octagon deal before he transitioned into TV and his long-running series, Walker, Texas Ranger,” said Gassaway.
