You wake up, go outside, and look up to see hundreds of Drones buzzing above your head. Drones are becoming more and more popular over time and are getting more uses. Drones are an important part of the futures society because they can be used to ship mail/packages quickly and conveniently and can be used in military operations. Drones are faster and more convenient which allows their popularity to increase.

Online shopping has increased over time and with that comes waiting. Corporations like Amazon have already began to work on the processes needed for drone delivery. Depending on your location you could receive your package in about 30 minutes. Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos explains that the “octocopters” will carry a yellow bucket and whenever a customer hits the “buy” button on Amazon.com the Drones will be given the package(s) and in 30 minutes the package would be on the coustomers door step. This wipes out the normal 4-7 business days needed for an average package (Contiguous U.S.). This proves that drones can be used as effective, efficient, and convenient tools for mailings and shipping. …show more content…
These drones are quick and agile and can save lives. They can be controlled and flown around for up to 17 hours on a normal battery life. Because of their quick and stealthy ability they can be used in surprise, coordinated attacks. The main groups that use the drones are the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). They use the drones to keep watch over Afghanistan and Yemen. These drones can cut down the amount of tragedies in the military and may provide intell faster and in a more efficient way.
