Coming from a military family has its ups and downs. I have lived in five different places in my life. Four of which are states in the United States and the last one is the most recent one Okinawa, Japan. Our family arrived on the island of Okinawa, Japan in January 2015. This transition was definitely a mental obstacle, with leaving friends that I knew for my first three years of high school and moving across the world. However, I made the best of it. In every military move,I have remained optimistic about it with the help of family. It was a long process to in order to move here.
