Have you heard of Stubby the military Pitbull that saved his entire platoon by warning them? That right, a Pitbull saved the whole military. Well, Pitbulls should be allowed as pets. The paragraphs below are my reasons why I chose to believe. The first reason is that pit bulls can protect us from danger. Pitbulls are loyal and have a very strong bond with their owners, which is why they are known to attack when they are in danger. They will bark and bite any threat their master or themselves face. Pitbulls can protect in ways like warning humans, serving, and guarding. An example of this in “Pitbulls Haven't Always Had a Bad Rep” is on page 12, paragraph 4. But the truth is that they respond very well to dog training and are extremely obedient to their owners. Another myth about pit bulls is that they have locked jaws, people think that when these dogs bite, they are physically unable to open their jaws. But this is completely untrue because when you compare a pit bull's jaw with a normal dog's jaw, there are no differences between them. Although they do have a strong jaw, it still isn't a lockjaw. Also, we can t be so stereotypical of pit bulls, for example, someone could bump into a baby, but that doesn't make them dangerous. Lastly, pit bulls are also loyal, loving dogs. These dogs are no different from any other dog breed, they can also be affectionate and cuddle. Pitbulls can form a very strong bond with their owners, but to achieve such love you’ll have to honor your dog’s devotion and love. Just like how a devoted friend in life comes with some effort. Also according to the “author of Pitbulls Haven’t Always Had a Bad Rep” on page 12, paragraph 3, stated, “The popularity of a pitbull was Stubby, a pitbull mix who captured the nation’s heart during war.” The amazing pitbull that served to help the military was a joyous delight of popularity for the
