jones to show that Czar Nicholas II are alike. The role Mr. Jones plays in the Animal Revolution was being the leader/farmer. By being the leader, he was not the best one like Czar. It's said at the beginning of the book he's an alcoholic , and that he'd drink to the point of being drunk. He was forgetting to feed the animals and he gave them bad living conditions. Mr. Jones was very similar to Czar, during the Animal Farm Revolution. During both revolutions they were both overthrown by his people or animals. He (Czar) had lived in good consigns or a luxury almost while peasants were struggling for decent conditions. Same goes to Mr. Jones, he had things handed to him almost, he "...does not give milk, does not lay eggs, he is weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits." (Orwell pg 4). He had the animals work and do everything he couldn't to make profit. Orwell compared Mr. Jones to Czar very well. Mr. Jones was blamed for all the problems on the farm so the animals wanted him gone. "Remove man from scene and the root cause of hunger and overwork abolished forever." (Orwell pg7) .
