You are a one of a kind person, and possess the characteristics of no other person I know. To be honest, while reading the book I didn’t like the way you acted. You represented a very negative figure and are in deep need of improvement. However, there were a few times when I respected your decisions. One was when you went to retrieve your son. I was very happy that you wanted to live with your son and that Huck would be able to spend time with his father. For me, life without my father would leave empty on the inside. I had heard about your abusive, drunken behavior, but believed maybe time had changed your ways. This wasn’t nearly the case though. During the next couple chapters you spent with Huck, I witnessed a father who disrespected his innocent child. Right from the beginning I saw you degrade Huck, and tell him you were going to beat him. You followed your word and beat your son numerous times. One time, while you were in a drunken rage you chased Huck around with a knife. I thought you were going to kill the kid. This is no way you should treat your son. You should respect him and help him when he needs it. You need to work on being a fatherly figure and get control of your anger. During your time spent with Huck, you were constantly getting drunk. The first night you were with Huck, you took his money so you could go out and buy whiskey. You need to get some self control. Your drinking needs to be limited as it makes you do terrible things. Alcohol has taken over your life and left you with nothing. I was very proud of you when you went into Jacob, the new judge’s, home to be reformed. Once again, I was optimistic that you would take the new judge’s advice and make changes. Soon into this therapy you got drunk again. This
