There was no response.
7 hours earlier, Mission Herodias 4 was nearing Mars. The crew consisted of Jay Mayes, Irwin Hardy, Rex Durant, Dee Barr, and Roxy Asher. Jay specialized in engineering, physics, and botany. Irwin is an engineer and chemist. Rex was the captain of the ship specializing in engineering. Dee was an expert in geology and meteorology. Roxy was one of the best medical experts in the world. Herodias 4 would be the 4th ship to land on Mars if it successfully landed.

Looks like an adventure is going to take place.
I packed all of my necessities for the trip and I was ready with 2 days to spare.
I sat down in the rover and I embarked on the journey. I was nervous, but I wanted to get home. I was excited and nervous at the same time for being the first man to ever use tesseract.
Days passed with the same thing happening; I drove, I ate, I slept. Same thing over and over. I think I began going crazy.
More days passed until I finally got to my location. The air was glowing a weird blue color and I started to get butterflies in my stomach. I got out of the rover and walked up to the breech. I stepped through and everything became black.
3000 years later I woke up. I didn’t know this at the time, but I soon realized when I woke up on a very futuristic Earth.
I found out NASA was still around so I went to them. It turns out they thought I was dead. They didn’t believe I was Jay Mayes until I took a lie detector. They were surprised to see that I was still alive. In all honesty I was too. I found a job as an author and I lived my long life out in this strange futuristic world.
