Paddling through 2,350 miles of diverse terrain will give me a deep knowledge of the Mississippi River. The path flows through rural areas as well as a few major cities such as Minneapolis, St. Louis and New Orleans. Along the way, I will stop and visit local towns and restaurants; therefore, experiencing the culture and people wherever I go. These interactions will expand my knowledge of life around the United States. Canoeing the Mississippi will give me many experiences and teach me about the culture along the way. Canoeing the Mississippi River is not easy, but it is very rewarding and that is why it is on my bucket list. It requires a lot of help from others, some money, and is physically demanding.
