If you were giving a speech about equal rights, what would you say? Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was one of the most prominent leaders of the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. His “I have a dream” speech is one of the things he is most remembered for.
