Modern day slavery. It happens all over this country,this continent and all over the world. Slavery was abolished a half a century ago, but sadly still occurs more often than realized. There are many situational topics that could be labeled as slavery that I am about to explain in this essay.

In the streets of L.A., to the bustling city of Brooklyn, there is a type of slavery that takes place that we are unaware of, Prostitution. See there are prostitutes,or hookers. Then there are pimps. Pimps are like a slave driver in a way because they put these girls out to sell themselves and in the end take half or most of their earnings. It's inhumane and disrespectful. Most importantly it is a form of slavery.
It's not all in the U.S. though.
