“Love and Sacrifice”
In “Momma” Chrystal Meeker givers her reader a glimpse of the real meaning of motherhood. Momma is about a mother struggling to raise her children amidst difficulties. Ms. Chrystal Meeker does a phenomenal job exploring the world of motherhood, which is shown directly to the reader by the life of Momma. The main character, who is the narrator, reflects on her childhood and how their selfless mother put them first before anything, and is able to understand the reasons behind her mother’s will to sacrifice various privileges and opportunities.
