My Personal Philosophy Everyone has their own view of life. Whether they are good morals or even bad, it all differs. This could also be known as one’s personal philosophy. People develop and shape their own personal philosophy throughout their whole life. What we go through over the years and the experiences we may come across, can radically change our views, depending on our age, social status and personal qualities. One might consider loyalty, honesty and tolerance to be very important. And I agree that these traits are important, but I believe that the ability to be optimistic is the most essential trait. I also think having a sense of humor and giving off a smile is also vital. Love can also make or break you. Throughout my whole life I have had many experiences thus, making my assumption of these different topics.
Humans strive to find out and clearly define the sense of their living, and feel unhappy as well as desperate without it. Each person has his own sense of life and discovers it for himself/herself only. There are people who live their lives without asking what they are living for. Personally I have always been concerned with this question and I think it is important to have at least some slightest peace of sense in life. Sometimes I feel myself broken and empty. It happens when I don’t see what I am living for. But I remember wise words that “life is too short to regret”. I think that everything depends on how we see life, and even in the most desperate situation one may find the way out. People explore the world around and gradually get acquainted with it. People get knowledge as a moving factor of human development. Life philosophy in general means an understanding of personal inner world and the world around. I presume that there are certain variants of life, which people choose according to their life circumstances. We live and work because of necessity and social duty. Everything depends only on personal initiative. My deep interest and curiosity to explore the world and see what my future will become is what keeps me going every day. I strive to achieve goals in life and accomplish success. I also know that it takes hard work and dedication to get your goals achieved. Nothing is free or handed to you. Life of a person who always moves forward is full of worries and strain. People always want something and in order to get it, they solve problems and overcome life calamities. If I strive to achieve goals, it means I’m not satisfied with my present life and surrounding world. On the other hand I can’t hope for anything if I don’t believe in future success. I’m optimistic and always hope for better future. A quote that I came across when researching was, “Don’t be afraid of perfection, as you’ll never achieve it. The more so, that there is nothing good in it.” If you have a strong desire, the whole Universe will help you to make your dreams come true. Spiritual growth is a constant widening of our knowledge and experience.
“We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be.” Said Mary Sarton, and I believe that is a great quote. Human existence isn’t flawless, but why should we dwell on the imperfections of life when we can smile at the almost faultless. I believe that life is too short to waste on negativity. Being positive means looking out the window at a thunderstorm and saying “This is good, the plant will be watered” or “don’t worry, it will clear up.” I consider myself to be very positive, and I always look at the bright side of a bad situation. This is one of the keys to my happiness. If something would bother me, I would go on and on and think about the situation all day and it would just bring me down honestly. It’s bad to have a negative state of mind. It’s also bad to keep things bottled up inside. Over the years I have learned that to discuss the problems I might have with someone and get through it. Trust me, it prevents a lot of stress.
