Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are all monotheistic religions. All three religions originated from southwest Asia. They each have their own holy books. They all believe in some form of afterlife. They also have some sort of prophet. There are divisions in each religion as well. People are also required to pray.
The prophet of Islam is Muhammed (peace be upon him). The holy book is the Quran which consists of 114 surahs or chapters. Muslims are required to pray five times a day at designated times. The mosque is where many Muslims go to pray although it is not required. They call their one and only god, Allah (swt). Islam is divided into two different groups: Shia and Sunni.
