In my opinion, Monsanto does make an effort to maintain an ethical culture that responds effectively to their stakeholders. The term stakeholders may refer to a number of individuals to include consumers, employees, as well as those who are invested within the company. According to the case study, Monsanto has made efforts by creating a code of conduct and a pledge to uphold their stance regarding ethical conduct (Ferrell, Thorne & Ferrell, 2016). As with any company, these are steps that are normally taken in order to be compliant with various rules and regulations. They serve as official documents developed as documentation that the company upholds the highest level of integrity. The pledge created by Monsanto covers all basis to include

Because even with all the issues the organization faced, the company has taken the blame and fixed it the best way possible. For example, when word got out about Monsanto dumping toxic waste into a creek they took all the blame and agreed that it wasn't right.

The company has purposely kept quiet about the risks that are involved with the usage of their products but have always been sure to publicize the benefits of their products. This has slowly ruined the Monsanto’s reputation, making difficult for stakeholders…
