I was unwilling to accept the fact that I was a student at Montgomery College because I didn’t want to wait two additional years in order to get into the large, renowned university I had always dreamt about. Although I was reluctant to accept Montgomery College as my school for the next two years, Montgomery College had helped me realize that I wanted to be in the STEM field and it was through the help of my professors and classmates that supported me through my stay. I had honestly underestimated Montgomery College as a whole after taking four semesters worth of courses there and it was a major challenge. The professors did not give mercy to students and plainly simulated the university student experience in order to prepare us for a larger, more intensive environment.
