Science has its way of creating many different wonders for our usage in the world. Rockets for example, were once the image of fiction. But now, it’s a real world idea in practice. During the first years of space technology research, many scientists raced against the clock to compete with the opponent. At that time during the 50’s, and 60’s, the Soviet Union and the United States raced to be the first to send a human into space and to be able to be the first country to achieve such marvels. The film shows the ways Florida benefited from the space program, showed the emotions of the people at that time, and told what life was like back then. But over time, many things can change, and with that, new achievements are made in that.

As the space program went along, many people were able to support such a large spectacle. For example, the film states that at Cape Canaveral (where NASA launching site is) many people work there indirectly or directly with the industry, but their work provides services, and necessities for the success of the space industry (NASA and the Space Program Change Florida). From this evidence, it can be concluded that from the help of society around the space program, that many people were influenced to help economic growth, and culture as changes happened at that time.
