Moving to Beijing

Growing up is not easy. When people are young, they always have to face a lot of difficulties. Also, we may have to face a lot of big challenges when we are teenagers. I think the only way is to try my best to overcome them. According to my own experience, moving from my home town, shanghai, to Beijing was my biggest challenge when I was young. I was so happy that I overcame it, and it became a piece of important memory in my life.
I moved to Beijing with my parents when I was 13 years old. I was born in Shanghai, which was the biggest modern city in south China. Besides some travels, I had no idea about the other cities in such a big country. When I got Beijing, I found that everything was quite different from shanghai. Beijing, which is the capital of China, is in north china. Although Shanghai and Beijing are all developed international cities; the food, the weather and the life habits in these two cities are not very likely. That was really helpful. The students in my new school thought that I was different from them at the beginning because I came from Shanghai. When I tried to talk to them, I found they were just shy but not afraid of me. They were very friendly. I went to parks and museums with my new friends every week. I told them about the life in Shanghai and they were interested in the stories. They introduced me some unique thing in Beijing. They shared their experiences and stories to me. I felt that I was never lonely in the city. I owned my family and such a lot of good friends.
