This will require ensuring that students receive an equitable education. These experiences have allowed me to share my own thoughts, goals, and beliefs on multicultural education, as well as hear those of others. This allows a chance for discussion about these ideas, their implementation, resources (both available and still needed), and additional support needed from colleagues. Critique the value of using data to examine instructional practices: I have been utilizing student data when assessing instructional practices. Through the collection of data on student assessments, performance, feedback, and collaborative work, I can better analyze the effectiveness of my own practices and approaches. This enables me to make more informed decisions about the needs of each individual student. Adjusting teaching methods and values to meet these needs can allow them to excel and ensure an equitable learning experience. Having a clear picture of the kind of educator you want to be is crucial in guiding the type of educator you are. With this, your values, beliefs, and goals are subject to change. Keeping these changes in mind will guide your decisions as an educator in the future. These will guide your beliefs surrounding professional development and what areas need the most improvement. Professional development helps to ensure that educators remain culturally responsive to their beliefs and practices. It educates teachers on the ever-changing diverse needs of their students and allows for the continuous refinement of their skills and knowledge.
