Being that i have a family member suffering from one of these, Arthritis is the disease i choose to talk about. From the root Arthr (which is a joint) and itis( which means inflammation) this disease is basically where you have an inflamed (swollen) joint muscle. According to Des Moines University our joint tissue becomes less resilient to wear and tear and start to degenerate causing swelling, pain and oftentimes loss of mobility of joints as we age. One is Dysplasia and the other is Kneecap Fracture. Dysplasia occurs when the patella does not fit properly in the groove of the femur, and because of this when the knee moves, there are increased stresses on the cartilage and that begins to wear down the cartilage.
