Matt (The Prado National Museum): The Prado National Museum is a museum located in central Madrid. This museum is special, as it features one of the world’s finest collections of European art. This collection is from the 12th century, all the way up to the 19th century. This collection of art is based on the Spanish Royal Collection, which is without a doubt, the best Spanish collection of art. This museum was originally founded as a museum of paintings and sculpture; however, it contains many other types of art. This museum is one of the most visited museums in the world, and is considered by many to be a top museum for art in the world. The Prado National Museum contains works by Francisco de Goya, Ribera, Velazquez, Titian, and many more. This museum is considered to be one of the three museums comprised in the “golden triangle of art.”
