Mute swans

The mute swan is an invasive species that is problematic in the places that it invades. native to central and northern Eurasia, invasive to midwestern states and portions of western U.S. and Canada. Its migration began in the 1900s and early 2000s.

My introductory reason that I believe that these waterfowl are problematic is because they are one of the biggest waterfowl species to exist, therefore competing with them is a dangerous bargain for a native waterfowl to the area. Waterfowl and mute swan also have the same diet when it comes to eating.
