Over the course of the book To Kill a Mockingbird Jem and Scout has grown and mutured. Scout tells the story from he perspective but as if shes only as child. As the book goes on Scout witnesses alot. Scout has mutured in the book in many ways. For example when Attiticus teaches her too read that was a muture thin for scout bein she was youn and she was just about to start school. Scout grows up with her big brother so of course she learns some things from him. One of the examples i like the most was when people call Atticus a "Nigger-lover" Scout takes it to heart and tells Atticus, and Atticus tells Scout don't listen to them just ignore it Scout learns that people are going to say harsh things.
