My Code of Honor
Knights always fascinated people with their deeds and good manners. In the pearl pears “sir gawin and the green knight” the green knight arrives at king Arthur castle to challenge’s his knights, but no one accepts the challenge until finally Arthur stands up. Eventually, Sir Gawin accepts the challenge and has his reputation challenged and his reputation challenged along the way. When Sir Gawin becomes a knight, he promised to live by the code of chivalry just like I live my life by a set of rules. My code of honor shares similarities with the knight’s code of chivalry. Some people think that if you lie then you won’t have to worry about getting in trouble and the reason people think that is I believe self-esteem. Some people just don’t think that way. I believe that some people need to have more honesty in their lives because if you’re not honest then you basically have nothing. Here is another thing that me and the knight have the same idea about. We have the same idea about women, the reason I am saying this is because he wouldn’t let the green knight’s wife throw herself at him. I say that we believe in the same thing because if I like or have liked a girl in the past then I would not try to date them if they had a boyfriend. I will and/or would stand up to anyone or anything that try to hurt a girl or being rude to. I have stood up to bullies for girls before and I will do that for any
