My I-Search Experience Analysis

“When you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes” (Chad Boyd). Not only does this reflect in english class but also in the real life. Being able to have the ability to realize when you are doing something stupid or something smart is the greatest challenge I faced. When I completed my I-search experience, I learned many lessons about the American dream, not to play stupid games, to always be humble, and that being a leader will come naturally. When I was watching my I-search presentation I noticed many differences things some good, some bad. For the strengths I believed I had many, I was able to get up there and be confident and just speak. As well I felt like I prepared for my speech very well. These two strengths go hand in hand, when you practice a ton you will know exactly what to say and not miss a beat and, when you practice you are confident that you will do great at what you are doing. That kind of relates to football, all the practices during the week will get you ready for the big game on friday with all that pressure. Mrs. Sukow made it very easy for all her students to reach a very high grade on the paper. I have learned so much about it too. I have learned that being humble and not cocky will get you very far in life. I know I am loud and like to have fun but that is very different from being humble, that is just being happy. Being humble is to be one who does not boast or brag about their successes, and in doing that people tend to think that you are a very well respected person. Also the I-search taught me that being a leader is very important, but very hard. When you see a leader everyone looks up to him/her but they don't realize how hard it is to be one. When being a leader you have to be able to speak your mind and call people out, you have to be willing to help other before yourself, and you have to stay strong during your hardships to help
