My juxtaposition was created using three key materials: a mirror, a drawing inspired by a painting called With a Rebel Yell by Mort Kunster, and the reflection of the person viewing the piece. The abstract nature that was incorporated with my project came from the idea of conflict, which is represented by the drawing, more specifically, inner vs. outer conflict. This concept was inspired by a question that my English teacher, Ms. Gray, asked: “What do you do when you’re insecure?”.
