The poem I picked that relates to my life is And 2morrow by Tupac. Tupac says a lot that's true to my life today and what really goes on. Tupac was born in Born in New York City in 1971 and died in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1996. This really made me think hard because of what he says is a true story in today’s world. My first line that's common is “today is filled with anger fueled with hidden hate”. People will hate on you all the time and hate to see you succeed in life when you are trying to do well. When you are doing well in life people will smile in your face but deep inside hate on you because they aren't or want to be as successful as you are in life. I like to compare this quote to my life because it’s some people in this world that tells me they like me a lot but then hear them hating on you and I think to myself what am I doing so well. …show more content…
I can relate this to my life because where I live people don't care about others people lives and it's a very violent city shootouts happen awfully a lot at night times. People think having guns is cool to kill people and always want to have something to prove because Bullets don’t have a name. Meaning people out here feel comfortable killing and shooting. The third line that is very familiar is “children bred with ruthlessness because no one at home cares” parents lack and don't take good care or pay much attention enough once there kids leave the house. When kids are out and about they don't have anybody to tell them what to do and they're out on their own being reckless with no home training. Which brings a lot of kids to play with guns and do drugs at a young age? Tupac is letting people know that the world is crazy and anything out here can happen.
