The person who has been a mentor to me is my welding teacher Steve Langdon. Mr. Langdon since the beginning of class has really been a help in learning about welding. Of course, he is my teacher, but he wants his students to grow and get better at welding. HE always conversates with use to see what we have done today and how can we fix it for the next day. He would mention to me that he has friends and family who work in the field that I’m planning to major in college. Which is a big help because it gives me a bit of a personal idea of what I’m going to get myself in. He’s there for you when you need him with welding. I didn’t become a decent Oxy-acetylene welder by night. If it wasn’t for his tips, I wouldn’t have stayed consistent ith it.
