Many people call me a nerd. I like to say that I am just a bookworm and very smart. Over the summer I had read a total of seventeen books, including the Divergent series, the Red Queen series, just to name a few. In my free time I am reading, and I go almost nowhere without a book in my bag or in my hands. I love horses. I love the way that they look and how majestic they are. I used to ride them, but certain circumstances have prevented it. I am in three advanced classes; Honors English, Geometry, and Biology. Almost everything that I do somehow revolves around books, and in being a bookworm, there are a lot of great quotes that influence my life and help me get through High School. “Broken isn’t the same as unfixable,” is the quote that I have taken to heart. …show more content…
This quote comes from my favorite book series, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. This quote is found in the fourth book of the series called “Winter.” This quote is my favorite because, to me it means that even though something seem like it is broken and no longer worth the time trying to fix, it doesn’t mean that it is unfixable. Unfixable to me means that it is so far from fixable that it falls apart and cannot be repaired in any way. It also applies to my everyday life because sometimes I feel like I just want to give up on society and go live in a tree house away from everyone. But then I remember that our broken society isn’t worth giving up
