My First Home My first home will be the start of my american dream because it will be the place where I cherish many of my memories with a family. My home will satisfy my physical and psychological needs such as safety, privacy, love and acceptance. My house will be spacious so I can show my creativity and self expression through furniture, decorations, and color. The theme will be like beach vintage theme but with plants and less boats or fishing poles on the wall. Yellow, orange, coral, burgundy, with hues of aquamarine, blue, and green will support my house theme.
My home will help to feel safe along with privacy by floor length curtains over my windows, a wooden door, and an alarm system. My first home will hold all the things I love like my kitchen, bed, or my husband . My house will have a two floor level plan so I can express my creativity and raise my children. I would like the interior to meet the concept of the Universal Design like some cabinets being set below the countertop. I would like to add a skylight in my kitchen to conserve energy along with solar panels on my roof.
My first home location would be designated in Florida in a family based housing neighborhood. I would specifically like to live in south Florida because I love sun and beaches. Although, I want to live in a neighborhood I do want to have an excessive amount of yard for my children to play, plant a garden, and host parties. A two car garage and a paved driveway will be necessary.
In the interior of my home the beach vintage theme will be incorporated either in a big or small way. The kitchen along with the dinnerware will be white and shades
