Roseman, he had suggested making a blog for my product. Though the idea of a blog was interesting, the product being tangible seemed more pleasant and interesting to me. For my project, I wanted my product to be a book on the recipes I learned how to make. The book should contain background information, the recipes learned, the picture of the recipe (my own), the history of the specific recipe if any, and lastly a bibliography. My process journals show how my project progressed from start to the end. In the process journals, there is a detailed information on the work done, the feelings about my progress, the changes made, what the next step is, and most importantly pictures for proof (Look at the appendices for example of my process journals that will allow you to see my process throughout the months). It allowed me to take control on how the project should be done. The project gave me a sense of real life because the project was to be completed individually without help but only guidance. Usually teachers have directions and expectations for how their project should be done, but this time there weren’t any for me. The project was to be done by using my skills learned throughout the MYP program. The project made me use and improve self-management skills to be able to get my work done. The skills helped with planning things and spreading the work through the months instead of doing it all at
