Since its inception, NASA has been paving a way for scientific and technological developments that have changed our lives in considerable ways. Artificial limbs, firefighter gear and telecommunication are some examples of NASA’s research. As a result of this development, there has been a slight improvement in the U.S. economy. However, due to the recent budget cuts NASA faces some challenges as important projects have been cancelled and deadlines for various missions have been cut short. Therefore, there are two main reasons as to why the government should increase NASA’s funds. The first reason is for the advancement of science and to satisfy our curiosity about space. And the second is to improve the current economic situation in the U.S. Keeping this in mind, the U.S government should increase NASA’s funding to fuel innovation, help economic growth, and to propel mankind into the future through space
